Success at Blue Rovers Tournament
Our grade Ten Celtics took out the recent Blue Rovers Tournament. Falcons performed well to come in third place.
In the 9th Grade Phoenix were supreme winners, being unbeaten in pool play, overcame Papamoa in the semis and when equal at the end of the final were able to overcome Mount Spurs in a penalty shootout. Keeper Joel Edlin played the game of his life in defending his goal in the shootout.
These successes resulted in Otumoetai FC taking home the overall trophy. Well done to all three teams. A great way to celebrate mothers day.
Thanks also to Blue Rovers for a well run tournament.
