Junior registration nights are at the Clubrooms at Fergusson park, Monday the 8th and 15th February, time 6.30 PM till 8.00 PM

Trial dates

Trials are to be held on the 7th March at the following times:

  • 8th Grade  ( turning 8 yrs during the year) at 10.00AM
  • 9th Grade  (turning 9 yrs during the year) at 11.00 AM
  • 10th Grade at 12 Noon
  • 11th Grade at 1.00 PM
  • 12th/13th Grade 23rd Feb @ 5.30PM Pitch 4  Players must register with Paul Hanson 576 8021 prior. second trial on 2nd March

All grade 8 players should come to grading. For other age groups social grade players need not attend.

PLAYERS WILL NOT BE SELECTED TO PLAY UNTIL SUCH TIME AS SUBSCRIPTIONS HAVE BEEN PAID IN FULL. 

Western Bay of Plenty Skill Centres

Waikato Bay of Plenty Football and Sport Bay of Plenty are pleased to announce the commencement of 3 Skill Centres in Western Bay.

The centres will be based at Links Avenue, Mt Maunganui, Fergusson Park, Otumoetai and Western Avenue, Omokoroa –All the centres will be run on a Friday evening starting at 6.00pm and finishing at 7.15pm and are open to all levels of players from Age 5 to 13.

Players will be training in groups with Players of similar footballing abilities with the focus on Player Development.  The centres will begin on Friday 19th February ‘10 with the final session on Friday 2nd April ‘10. Player assessments will be issued on the Final Session.

Females in Football - 15 to 21 February 2010

Females in Football is a New Zealand Football national recruitment campaign which aims to increase the number of females participating in football (players, coaches and referees). Girls and Women’s football week is all part of this, so come along and have a go!

As part of the week, there will be various activities taking place across the country, such as:

  • School sessions
  • Fun football festivals, where you will get to meet the Football Ferns!
  • Female introductory coaching courses
  • Female introductory refereeing courses
  • Introductory training sessions at clubs

Preseason Training 2010

Preseason training for the 2010 season commenced on Tuesday 19th January 2010. 6.30pm at Fergusson Park. Training will continue on TUESDAYS and WEDNESDAYS at 6.30pm until the Otumoetai 5 a side competition is completed at which point training will revert to TUESDAYS and THURSDAYS.
 
Those Players wishing to play in the Otumoetai Federation Teams for 2010 should be attending training from 19th January in order to be considered for selection.
